For the new HT headquarters at MindMilano, encompassing 35,000 square meters of laboratories and offices, the goal was to craft an iconic building that sparks and disseminates ideas. We envisioned a structure that allows for functional fluidity, ensuring the program remains perpetually reconfigurable, adaptable, and expandable. Additionally, we envisioned a public infrastructure featuring three interconnected squares at different levels, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding context. What better representation of Italy and the exchange of ideas than a piazza? Our aim was not to merely create an icon but to design a living, breathing brain—free to reconfigure itself and foster novel connections and ideas through unexpected experiences.
