DESCRIPTION

Renovation of an existing industrial complex for the new headquarters of Dott. Gallina srl, a leading company in the production of polycarbonate panels for architecture. The competition essentially requested a new facade for the existing buildings and a refunctionalization of the surrounding areas of the complex. The proposed idea was to create a sort of accessible perimeter wall, which not only separates the industrial areas from the landscaped green areas but also serves as a pedestrian pathway, allowing visitors and employees to enjoy these green spaces without intersecting with vehicular traffic. A perimeter wall that, instead of protecting, welcomes; that, instead of concealing, reveals. A place no longer exclusively dedicated to work but also to be visited in one’s leisure time.
