Our life is a collection of memories, our own and those others have of us. Memories that outlive us and for which we need a physical presence to interact with. But how can we materialize an immaterial presence without creating a monument? We can achieve this by preserving the characteristics of memories, which are, first of all, invisible but leave an indelible mark on the earth, and even though they have no barriers, they cannot be touched. A column polished like a mirror, reflecting the context in which memories were formed, blending in with it. A column where we see our reflection, recognizing that part of ourselves that would not be what it is without those memories.
