WineCultureCenter”
DESCRIPTION
Italian wineries have a rich history, but often struggle to effectively communicate their essence. The project proposes an expansion of the existing cellar while preserving it as a testament to local tradition. This expansion incorporates cultural functions and outreach, including a platform positioned on the roof. By doing so, it removes urbanization from the visitor’s view and frames only the breathtaking landscape, where wine becomes a true expression of its surroundings. Additionally, the elevated position of the platform allows visitors to connect visually and physically with all the fascinating aspects of the production happening below. The design of the platform was meticulously crafted to evoke sensations reminiscent of traditional wine cellars: the temperature, the materials used, and the visual experience. By maintaining a connection to the past, the expansion cherishes and preserves the sensations that we all cherish during a visit to a traditional winery.
